What it Costs to Build a Team- Our Predicted Expenses
Being part of a Robotics team is a great responsibility. From pre-season to build season, the members of the SMNW Cougar Robotics 1982 spend the majority of their time together working towards advancements in knowledge of engineering and technology. However cannot be run on hard work alone. We rely on the generosity of our sponsor to support our financial needs. Below is a detailed summary of our expense report.

PurposeLocal competition registration
Kit of parts and registration- In order to enter the Kansas City regional, we must purchase our reservation (valued at $5,000) as well as our Kit of Parts (valued at $2,500). The reservation price only reserves our spot in the 2013 competition, excluding the entrance fee of the regional competition. With a Kit of Parts, we are given materials that partially provide parts for building the basics of our robot. Additional KoP (Kit of Parts) Parts Aluminum and welding for frame Lexan Competition field Simulation Miscellaneous materials Pit Supplies- The Pit is an important part of the competition as it is where our robot/team resides when not participating on court. There we make our last minute modifications and manage our scouting team. The pit is a very essential component for maintenance and safety. Outreach Expenses Regional Competition |
